About Us
After building and selling a successful accounting firm established in 1998, Alan Nathan recognised an unmet need in the tax industry. Too often, CPA firms direct their resources toward business filings, leaving individual tax returns (1040s) without the attention they deserve. To change this, Alan partnered with Sara Gorkofsky and Austin Peterson, trusted colleagues who had grown within his previous firm, to launch Sproutax. Today, Alan, Sara, and Austin lead the firm as partners, bringing decades of combined experience to individuals, families, estates, and trusts.
